A JOB WELL DONE Hats off and a great big thank-you to the members of St. John's C.Y.J, who turned out last Sunday afternoon to solicit funds for the United Citijral Palsy drive. The youth braved the very bad weather and went door to door collecting funds for these unfortunate persons who are stricken with the deadly crippler. Some of the young people trudged by foot to make their collections and anyone who remembers last Sunday's weather know this was no picnic. I think there are times when the young people should be given a pat on the back instead of the constant "knocking down" they have been getting. I do not have the results of their collections as yet, but as soon as they are totaled you will be told. The youths are most grateful to all the people who were very cordial to them and had them in for a minute to warm up. TRAVELING FOLKS Pat and Mary Hiller were among our latest residents to take off for a warmer climate. They flew to Florida last Sunday and are returning this weekend. Pm sure they ran into much better weather than we have had here. The Chuck Boak family were very happy to have his dad spend a few days with them recently. Mr. Boak came from California to get a peek at his new grandson. And so another short, short" column is brought to a close.
