Two of the most popular courses in the adult education program in McHenry high school this winter are Golf and Furniture Upholstering. The golf cours^ has eighteen students in it and4~i§ taught by Mike Dreher, a junior high working with Mrs. Anne Condella and father students in the furniture upholstering class in the adult education program sponsored by the McHenry public schools. In the golf course, beginners learn the basic fundamentals of golf, while practicing on the different aspects of the game. The course is taught in the Edgebrook multi - purpose room. In the past two semesters the Furniture upholstering course has been the most popular course in the night school program. It is an introduction to the basic techniques of furniture repair; each student brings a small piece of furniture, then upholsters it during the course. Both courses, along with many others, will be offered again in the fall of 1968.
