Urge Care In Use Of Kites With spring officially just around the corner, George Marcus, superintendent of Commonwealth Edison company's Crystal Lake district, has his eye to the sky. Mr, Marcus urges kite enthusiasts who will be out in force with the gusty winds of March to follow five basic rules to have fun safely: 1. Use only ordinary kite string; don't substitute wire or metallic cord. 2. Never attach metal or tin- ' sel to any part of the kite. 3. Fly kites in unobstructed areas where traffic is light and trees and utility lines can be avoided. 4. Never fly kites during storms or when the string is wet. 5. Don't put yourself out on a limb trying to retrieve a tangled kite. If your kite becomes snagged, and you can't tug it free, abandon it rather than risk injury by climbing a pole or tree, or entering a hazardous area. "The basic rule, of course, is to use common sense," Marcus said, "and to keep your kite in the air and your feet on the ground." The art of politics is changing. The smoke-filled room, for example, is likely to be fresher than the air outside. A good quality oriental rug has over 300 knots per square inch.
