ACNE One of the biggest problems today for both boys and girls is adolescent acne. Glandular activity is at its peak in the teen years. Scrupulous cleanliness, for the teen, is an absolute must. Oily skin needs scrubbing with medicated .soaps or lotions, and often responds best to liquid cleaners which penetrate the pores and flush away impurities. Granular cleaners are also helpful, not only because they wash away dirt, but because they use friction to stimulate the skin. The wise teen will find astringents and skin fresheners invaluable in the fight against acne. Frequent shampooing with medicated shampoos is another must. Remember a clean skin is a healthy skin.
