The Godparents are her aunt, Marylyn LoPresti of Lilymoor, and her uncle, James O* Brien of McHenry. The families got together at Chuck and Kitty's to celebrate the baptismal and also Easter. EASTER VACATION Bud and Alma Hueckstaedt and son, Rusty, spent the Easter weekend vacation in the state of Pennsylvania. While there they visited with their daughter, son-in-law and grandson, Sherry, Lee and Steve Schaeffer of Pennsylvania. They also saw the interesting sights of the Gettysburg battlegrounds. Here's hoping Lil you are now home and feeling much better. SPOTS AGAIN Seems like Little Lee Ann JAMES KENNEBECK NAMED SERGEANT . IN NiU SECURITY James A. Kennebeck, a patrolman since 1964 inthe Northern Illinois university security and safety department, has been promoted to sergeant. Donald E. Bauer, NIU director of security and safety, indicated that Kennebeck would be assigned to the patrol division as a shift supervisor. A native of McHenry, Kennebeck was an NIU student from 1959 through 1962. As an NIU patrolman he has attended the basic police school, an advanced first aid course, and other Federal Bureau of Investigation seminars. Kennebeck also served in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1954. He resides in DeKalb at 1400 W. Lincoln highway. Meyer just finished seeing spots before her eyes and now her sister, Roxanne, is seeing those chicken-pox spots before her eyes. Parents - Teachers Band To Solve School Problems Memorial hospital for Mc- Henry County is beginning its •' next free "Preparation for Parenthood" class, Mrs. Caroline Stratton, R.N. in charge of the program, announced this week. "Preparation for Parenthood" is presented in two sessions -- the first class will be held Monday, May 6 and the second class on Monday, May 13. These free sessions begin at 8 p.m. and are held in the hospital' s dining room. The first class concerns prenatal care with a film on the topic, followed by discussions. The following week's session includes movies on labor and delivery, and care of the mother and newborn baby. Staff doctors and nurses take part in this program, giving their time and service to aid ' parents -to-be. This course is part of a continuing service program at Memorial hospital for McHenry county, and is held quarterly. Those planning to attend should obtain the routine permit slip on their next visit to their doctor. Fathers-to-be are encouraged to attend. graduated from basic training at the Coast Guard Recruit Training Center, Cape May, N.J. Under the guidance of experienced Coast Guard petty officers, he successfully completed,. a rigid eight-week training program designed to transform him, from a civilian into a trained Coast Guardian. As a graduate he may apply if eligible, for advanced training in one of the many occupational fields required by the Coast Guard, or he may be assigned to a Coast Guard Unit operating in the United States or overseas. Petty Officer Freund enlisted in the Navy Feb. 1, 1966. He is a 1963 graduate of McHenry high school. The young Navy man is married to the former Sandra Smith daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Smith.
