DON PEASLEY PHOTO Dr. R.S. Loewenherz talks to members of the press about significant progress at McHenry Hospital during a press conference dinner at the hospital, part of National Hospital SUNDAY S A SERMON Week observance this year. He discussed how the medical staff is an integral part of the total health care teamat the hospital. PAIN & SORROW Pain and sorrow seldom affect two individuals in exactly the same manner. Howareyou affected? Do you become bitter, or dp you pray to God for the strength to continue? Look about you. Observe, among your friends and acquaintances, how well or how poorly they meet the challenges of life. Surely you know someone who has "had more than his share" of misery or illfortune, yet mysteriously carries on with a stiff upper lip and a smile for the rest of the world. This is an individual with great inner strength, with courage. And, perhaps, you know someone turned bitter and resentful by some defeat or misadventure, who may even blame God for self-imposed misery. This is someone in need' of hope, in need of faith, someone who is without them destined for one miserable day after another. As you walk the roadway of life, remember that you are never alone. Keep faith in God, and seek the courage to always c o n t i n u e , to p e r s e v e r e . You may stumble, but you will never fall so low you cannot see the hope and the promise of a better tomorrow.
