TWO-CAR CRASH An Ingleside driver, John Piff, was blamed by sherifPs deputies for an accident In which his car collided with another driven by Daniel Torres of Rt. 2, West Chicago, who was uninjured. The crash occurred on Bay road several miles east of McHenry, Friday night. Torres told deputies he was travelling west when the other auto swerved across the center line. FAIR TICKET OFFICE Ticket requests for entertainment attractions at the 1968 Illinois State Fair will be accepted starting June 1, General Manager Franklin Rust announced, "The ticket office v/ill not be opened until Monday,, June 3," Rust said, "and an orderly processing of ticket orders cannot be accomplished if there is a backlog of mail orders. Ticket orders postmarked prior to June 1 will be returned." Over-the-counter sales at the grandstand will not get under way until about June 15, Rust added. Joyce Bahling of Riverside drive, McHenry, told sherifPs police she was driving over the bridge and applied the brakes when she saw an auto in front of her. However, the auto skidded on wet pavement and her vehicle collided with another driven by Silvio Pioli of River road, McHenry. The latter driver was injured.
