ERNEST P. SCHINAGEL A coroner's inquest will be held at the George R. JusteffA Son chapel next Saturday into the death of Ernest P. Schinagel, which Occurred last Friday morning, July 12. Schinagel was found about 9 a.m. on the floor of the bedroom by his wife Loretta, a bullet wound in his head. Police found a .38 caliber revolver in the toom. Mr. Schinagel, 60, was born June 27, 1908, in Hungary. For the past year he had resided at 4513 Sussex drive, Whispering Oaks, McHenry. Survivors are the widow, Loretta, to whom he had been married twenty-five years; and (me lister, Mrs. Frank (Elizabeth) Smoll, Berwyn. Funeral services were conducted, at 1 o'clock Monday from the Justen funeral home, with private burial. In Musical SHIRLEY SMITH Shirley Smith, talented McHenry singer, has been selected for a role in the musical comedy, "Take Me Along" at Mr. L's Carousel theatre, playing the part of Belle. When Mr. L heard Mrs. Smith sing in audition, he decided to include a special vocal arrangement for her which was not in the original show. The musical will be seen in nine performances from Aug. 1 through 11. Now in its ninth year, the big carousel tent was moved from Waukegan in 1957 when the Midlane Farm Country club became its home. GUNHILD MILINAC Mrs. Gunhild Milihac, 72, of 406 N. Lily Lake road, Lilymoor, died Friday, July 12, at the Villa Nursing home, where she had been confined three and a half years. Mrs. Milinac was born Jan. 6,1896 in Sweden. She was preceded in death by her husband, John, who died in 1966. Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Donald (Jean) Peterson of McHenry; three sons, Carl J. of California, Donald of Woodstock and Franklin of McHenry; ten grandchildren and (me brother in Connecticut. Funeral services were conducted at 10:30 Monday morning at the George R. Justen & Son chapel, with interment in Ringwood cemetery. Riverside Drive McHenry THREE MINOR CRASHES OCCUR IN THIS AREA Two drivers escaped injury last Thursday morning when their cars collided on Rt. 31, south of McHenry. Gerald Ritt of Algonquin was driving north when another auto driven by Marquette Healless of Wonder Lake reportedly pulled out of a driveway. Two drivers were blamed in a second accident that day on Rt. 120. Ronald Weidner of Rt. 1, Round Lake, was cited for improper pas sing on the shoulder and Thomas A. Boyette of Elm street, McHenry, for no driver's' .license. Police said Weidner was driving his truck east behind cars waiting to make a left turn into a driveway. As he pulled onto the shoulder to go around him, the Boyette auto and truck collided. Mathew W. Scheid, Jr., of Solon Mills received slight injuries about midnight Saturday when he apparently fell alseep while driving on Spring Grove road, north of that village.
