Moser, Twin Lakes, Wis., Saturday, July 6 in Kenosha. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray AaltQ, 5012 W. Orchard drive, Mc- Cullom Lake and the groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Francis Moser, Twin Lakes. Hie two exchanged vows in the court house, Kenosha, Wis. and were attended by the bride's sister, Miss Mary Ellen Aalto and Claude Weiss. A wedding reception for the bridal party and both sets of parents was held at the Fair view restaurant, Twin Lakes. Following a short honeymoon Mr. and Mrs. Moser are now residing in Trevor, Wis. The bride attended McHenry high school and is employed in Spring Grove. Judy Walsh Is Shower Guest A miscellaneous bridal shower was held at the Johmburg Community club hall last Sunday for a bride of the near future, Miss Judy Walsh. Hostesses were her attendants, Jane Walsh, Kathy Powers, Sarah Whiting and Mrs. William Comstock. Forty guests enjoyed the buffet luncheon served from a table decorated in the bridal colors. Miss Walsh will become the bride of James W. Smith at St. Patrick's Catholic church on August 3. Nettie Weber Observes 86th Birthday July 12 Mrs. Nettie Weber of Main street, McHenry, celebrated her eighty-sixth birthday anniversary last Friday, July 12, with a family reunion in the city park. A picnic supper was enjoyed by Mrs. "Weber and her guests, who included three children and their families, Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Weber, Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Carl Weber and Mr. and Mrs. Earl (Marty) Conway; also her grandchildren, Jack Weber and family of Wonder Lake, Ronald Vacula family, Carl "Bill" Weber and family, the William Neumann, Jr., family, the Ronald Conway and James Conway families, the John Ficken family, Martin Klapperich family, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Mercure, Marty and Pat Conway, and also Anna and Herbie Ficken. Three grandchildren were unable to attend, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Weber, Jr., of Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Murphy and family of Spain and Mr. and Mrs. William Gullett of Fontana, Calif. There are forty grandchildren and thirtyone great-grandchildren. One of Mrs. Weber's greatgrandchildren, Leonard Klapperich, also celebrated his eighth birthday on July 12. Hie DesPlaines Bible church was the setting for a pretty wedding on Saturday, July 13, at 2 p.m. when Miss Diane Lee Swetman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Swetman of 809 S. Emerald drive, McHenry, became the bride of Mr. Louis Weller, son of Mr. and Mrs. Vince Weller of Martin, Mich. Rev. R. Wright of the Wonder Lake Bible church officiated at the 2 o'clock ceremony, for which Ruth Brabenec was organist. Joanne Williams was soloist, singing " Whither Thou Goest" and " Savior Like a Shepherd". Bouquets of gladioli and daisy mums decorated the altar. Pretty Miss Swetman wore a traditional wedding dress of nylon over taffeta, styled with a square neckline, lace applique and French sequins around the neckline and down the front of the dress. It formed its own train with lace applique, featuring a small bow at the waist in back and additional lace. Her bouffant, white nylon, illusion veil was held in place by a pearl crown headpiece with a crystal teardrop in the center. Her bouquet was of daisy mums with fern and baby's breath and a white orchid in the center. Attending the bride were Joanne Williams of Ann Arbor, Mich., Ellen Swetman of Melrose Park, Sherri Swetman of McHenry, Lois Wedell of DesPlaines and Cam Cardy of Homer, Mich. They were attired in rainbow colors of nylon dotted Swiss tyer taffeta, styled with scoop decklines, threequarter sleeves, lace trimmed and narrow, velvet ribbon trimming the empire waists, with bows in the back. The colors were green, blue, pink, yellow and lavender. Their headpieces were in matching colors and they > carried natural wicker baskets with daisy mums, fern and baby's breath in white and a color matching their dresses. Rich Weller of Michigan served as best man and groomsmen were Lee Groth of Maton, Mich., Roger Wood, Rob Hall and Larry Storch of Grand Rapids; Mich. The bride's mother selected an aqua lace sheath over taffeta, with jacket and had a white carnation and aqua daisy mum corsage. Mrs. Weller wore,a yellow taffeta coat and matching color dress with a corsage of white carnations and yellow daisy mums. A reception for 200 followed the ceremony in the auditorium of the church. After a trip around Lake Michigan, the couple will reside in Grand Rapids, Mich. The bride is a McHenry high school graduate and is now in her third year at Grand Rapids school of Bible and Music. Her husband is^a graduate of Martin high/SchooT and is also in his third' year at the same school. MR. AND MRS. ROBERT PINN St. Mary's Catholic church was the setting for a lovely wedding on June 22 when Miss Andrea Garnet Parks became the bride of Mr. Robert Pinn. Miss Parks is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lance M. Parks of 5416 W. Euclid drive, McHenry and Mr. Pinn is the son of Edward Pinn of 1907 State street, Lockport, 111., and the late Mrs. Pinn. Following a wedding trip to southern Illinois, the couple will reside in Lockport. NANCY ANDERSON Mr. and Mrs. William Y. Anderson of McHenry announce the engagement of their daughter, Nancy, to William J. Godshall also of McHenry. Miss Anderson is a 1964 graduate of M.C.HJS. and attended Momingside college. She is a stewardess based at O'Hare airport. Mr. Godshall is a 1961 graduate of Lakeland college and is currently teaching English and reading in McHenry high school. Oak drive, McHenry, was named first runner-up in the jMiss National Guard contest conducted recently in Hawaii. Judging of the twenty contestants was done by members of the Guard. Miss Wagner, a 1967 graduate of McHsnry high school, has been in Hawaii since September of last year. Shs will be remembered as a candidate in the 1966 McHenry Marina Festival contest. RETURN FROM TRIP Mr. and Mrs. Roy Redwanz spent two weeks on the "Gunflint Trail" Grand Morais, Minn., fishing, hiking and canoeing. They were joined for this pleasant vacation by their son, James, his wife, Hildle, and two children, Mike and Aidta, of California, and Mr. and Mrs. Michael Yourrt of McHenry. Mrs. James Jones and the grand children returned to McHenry to spend several weeks with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Bock. All enjoyed a delicious fish dinner (the big one that didn't get away) on Saturday evening in the Redwanz home.
