NEW BABY IN STRAUEL HOME We wish to congratulate Mr. and Mrs. Ed Strauel of Spring Grove upon the arrival of their fifth child and second son. Craig Steven was welcomed at the McHenry hospital on August 23, and weighed a very healthy 8 lbs. 14 oz. Eager to spoil their little brother are Edward Louis, m, Cynthia, Colleen and Jean Marie. MEETINGS TO REMEMBER The officers and members of the Johnsburg Community club will meet next Monday evening, Sept. 9 In the club hall. This meeting was postponed a week because of the Labor Day holiday. On Tuesday evening, Sept. 9 the members of St. John's Blessed Virgin Sodality will meet at 8 p.m. in the community club hall. On the fifteenth of this month a triple celebration will be observed. It is the wedding anniversaries for Dan and Betty Schmitt, Harry and LuAnn Smith along with Harry and Lois Thelen. Joe just ended a two year period in Uncle Sam's army and will be returning to school in Milwaukee. His wife starts teaching there also this semester. The Roger Pechous family were real happy to have her folks spend a few days with them this past week. Roger, Jr., and Pam accompanied their grandparents to Mauston, Wis., for an overnight visit with friends. School days are upon us once again, folks, whether we Want them or not.
