Cards will be 'played by the ladies after the regular business meeting and refreshments will be served. | HOSPiTAL PATIENTS 1 George Breier is recuperating in his home onSpring Grove Road' following eye surgery at St. Therese hospital in Waukegan. I spoke to him the other day and he sounded absolutely wonderful. It made him feel so good to hear from so many people during his confinement. He was literally "snowed under" with cards and words of encouragement. We are most happy to see Phil Bartmann up and around after his bout with pneumonia that landed him in the McHenry hospital for several days. WELCOMES FIRST SON On Friday of last week, William Edward Dust, Jr., got the first look at his homo. Fffe was born in the Woodstock hospital 383-1296 on Jan. 29 to Bill and Sharon Dust. Both mother and baby arrived home on Friday to a happy father and Lynette, little Bill's sister. The new baby weighed 6 lbs. 1 02. at birth and made his appearance five weeks earlier than was expected. His doting grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Dust of Palos Park and the Jacob Thiels of St. John's avenue. Our sincerest best wishes to all. The Marvy-poos are a folk-rock group formed of the Sr. Hi M Y. F'ers. They have been practicing together for the past three weeks. Their first live appearance was given last Sunday night for the people of the Valley-Hi Home. The next meeting will be held on Sunday at 7 p.m. at the church. Pam Low, reporter ... ANNIVERSARY DINNER Mr. and Mrs. Roland Bauer, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Brennan went out. to dinner in Dundee on Saturday night to celebrate the Brennans' seventeenth wedding anniversary. The trip was most enjoyable for both of them although the weather was a iittie too cool for their liking. Mr. and Mrs. Tony M. Freund, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Freund and Mrs. Margaret Diirrenberg were dinner guests in the Debrecht home last Thursday evening. On Saturday, Mrs. Mamie King and Mrs. Frank Freund called on Mrs. Tena Lay in Fox Lake. We got a card from the newlyweds, Joe and Pat Hettermann, who are enjoying Hawaii to the fullest. They were married on Jan. 30 in a small Army chapel at Fort Schafter. They were so very happy Joe's parents, Ed and Dot, were able to be present. Pamela has birthday number five on the tenth, while Sarah celebrates her big day on the twenty-second and George comes along with his birthday on Feb. 25. Barbara Hettermann will'observe another birthday on Feb. 26 and her little daughter will be three on the twenty-seventh. The service will be informal in nature and will feature music of the liturgy set to the more contemporary music of our youth. There will be a fellowship hour after the service. Transportation will be arranged and announced at a later date. The Senior High Youth of Nativity wiJJ^bothsponsor and conduct a Pre-Lenten Service of worship. The service will be set in a contemporary mood centering itself on self-examination of ourselves and the world in which we live. The service of worship will be held Sunday Feb. 25 at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary. Many of our high school youth will take part in the service. In the narthex during the next few weeks there will be a list of things that we would like to send to our men both here and overseas. These articles will be listed on cards and if you find somsthing listed you would like^ to donate, take the fcard listing that article or articles so that we will not have duplication.
