As a dog owner, I know the problems of pets, and I expect to be picking up after my own, but several persons have asked me to write on other dogs on the loose. There are entirely too many dogs on the run in our little village, and all of them do have owners, but evidently they don't think enough of them to keep them out of other people's yards and away from their evergreens, etc. Just in the main section of town there are eight dogs always running loose with no one seeming to care. I am always chasing somebody's dog away from the bushes in the front. I do not appreciate (along with mai\y others) cleaning up after the dogs in the entire neighborhood. Did you ever go out in your yard and step in to unpleasantness? Would you like it outside your front door? If you who have these dogs do love your dog, please keep him on a leash or chain; and keep him in your own yard. Then you will know where to walk and not to walk. There is a county ordinance about dogs running around loose, anditwillbeinfor- Ced if this matter is not taken care of by the owners of loose dogs. Supposing one of these dogs runs, out in the road and somebody gets hurt? It is also impossible that one of these dogs could bite an adult or child. Will you wait until it's too and the damage is done? He*fl®**| take care of your dog, if vxfi 'i really do citfe for Mini, you.
