A WORD TO MY HELPERS Last night I braved an early evening stroll or should I say trudge through the mounds of snow to try and get around to express my appreciation to those of you who contributed articles to fill this column the past two weeks. Having just recovered from an extended bout with that Hong-Kong flu business, it felt good to get outside. I saw two little girls dragging their toboggan, that was bigger than they were down towards the hill and two boys dragging a discarded Christmas tree heaven oaly knows where. I saw some of our braver residents swinging their snow shovels with great spirit. It's a marvelous form of exercise and a sure fire way to get a backache. I could swear I saw Jean-Claude Kill; with his skis over his shoulder but it couldn't be, must have been the cold or the glare of the snow, or the tricks played by jthe advancing years that my kids tease me about. If I didri't get to your house please don't think I didn't appreciate all the help I got. I turned blue after Awhile and hurried home to my rocking chair.
