All adults interested in helpin^with the Little League program during the coming summer are invited to attend this meeting. Billy Nickels is back on the mend again after eye surgery in Sherman hospital in Elgin last week. The surgery was on Monday and he was home by Wednesday feeling pretty good. John Zimny had knee surgery last week and should be feeling chipper soon we hope. Missed him on bowling night. Ron and Judy Bierman and Joyce and Joe Leopold went out for dinner to a smorgasbord restaurant in Dundee to celebrate Ron's birthday last weekend. _ Grandma Bierman has been ill, and is staying with Ron and Judy while recuperating. Happy to say she is on the mend and feeling better every day. Kris Flannigan was the hostess for a great day of tobogganing and ice skating with hot dogs and the trimmings for an energy lift. The kids really had a great time at the Flannigans' new home in Richmond. The guests were Don and Butch Arient, Diane Volpendeata, Janice Acred, Dennis and Kevin Druml, Joanne Becker", Bill Richards and Tom Meyer. Lots of snow and fun. Our very deepest sympathy is extended to Mary Ann Dettmer and her family on the recent death of her mother. Just received news on the phone that we have a new nephew born at 3:45 a.m. Jan. 14 at Lutheran Deaconess hospital to .Phil and Charlotte Humann. The little fellow was named Craig Paul. STORK GRAM Lorraine and Fred Pike became the grandparents of their first grandchild on Sunday evening, Jan. 12. A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. James Boger of Cooney Heights at 7:02 p.m. at the McHenry hospital. The lovely little girl was named Jaqueline Marie. She weighed 10 lbs. 9^ oz. and measured 22 inches at birth. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Boger of Waukegan Road are the paternal grandparents. The Bogers are quite thrilled with the brand new little girl particularly as she is the first girl to be born in the Boger family in many years.
