Roy Meineke had hip surgery last month at Sherman hospital and returned home a few weeks ago, where he will continue convalescing for the next six to nine months. He has to stay off his feet so that the hip heals right so will be in a wheel chair and then crutches as he gets his strength back. Being under such restraint for such an active guy gets a little monotonous so he sure would appreciate some cheery cards from all the friends he has around here. Visitors are also quite welcome but should call before coming so that there aren't too many at once, or don't come during snooze time. We sure hope he gets back on his feet, literally, sooner than later.
