' VILLAGE MEETING Will be held this coming Thursday, March 13, at the firecommunity building at 8 p.m. AUXILIARY NEWS The Woman's auxiliary held its monthly meeting at the home of Marylyn LoPresti, Monday, March 3. The forthcoming pancake breakfast was discussed. The breakfast will be held at the Moose hall in McHenry. Hostess for the meeting was Marylyn LoPresti. Winner of the monthly prize was Connie Johnson. The next monthly meeting will be held Monday, April 7, at the home of Marge Polinski. Hostesses for the April meeting are Elsie Metz and Marge Polinski. Meeting will start, at 7:45 p.m. PANCAKE BREAKFAST The Woman's auxiliary is sponsoring a pancake breakfast Sunday, March 30, from 8 a.m. till 2 p.m. The breakfast will be held at the Moose hall in McHenry. Proceeds of the breakfast will be used to purchase a plaque in honor of all the men of Lilymoor who have and are serving in the armed forces. You can purchase your tickets at the door the day of the breakfast. LADIES LEAGUE Held their regular meeting Wednesday, March 5. After the business on hand was taken care of bunco was played. Lu Gravenstuk won first, Helen Para won second and Rose Zelenka won third. Booby went to Florence Mix this time. The ladies were very happy and welcomed Marie Hyatt to the meeting. Due to the weather and not feeling well Mariec could not attend the meetings before. RUMMAGE SALE The Lilymoor association is holding a rummage sale April 18 and 19. Attending Gene's graduation were his wife, Micki, his mother, Ann Bolda, brother, Jerry, and his aunt, Mrs. Ray Stilling, and her two daughters. Gene will be working Out of Station 2 in Elgin.
