All faculty m?m'oers spent the day in a room other than their own, instructing children of a different age group in a variety of subjects. Objectives of the day were four: To widen views about child growth and davelopment; to broaden perspective on the responsibilities of teachers of different grades; to differentiate the methods of children's learning at different ages; and to recognize the needs of students and teachers at various levels of instruction. A follow-up faculty meeting was held Thursday in the cafeteria, at which time the teachers exchanged opinions and information as a result of the program. Gauthier said that the refund results from a recent Federal Power Commission ruling affecting the Natural Gas Pipeline Co. of American, one of_ the utility's principal suppliers. It represents amounts paid to the supplier since December, 1967, which were in excess of rates approved by the FPC in February of this year. McHENRY SERVICE CENTER r X l M'SI AI.
