In fact, Fontana said, "In light of the times, we have chosen as our theme for this convention the thought from I Corinthians 7:29, 'Making Wise Use of the Remaining Time.' " An extensive program of Bible instruction is being planned for the Elgin convention and the public will be offered a personal invitation to attend the sessions, which are free. DOMIMCK I.'ONTANA Dominiek Fontana, presiding minister of the Woodstock Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, has announced that he has met with the presiding ministers of fifteen other congregations in northern Illinois to plan for three days of encouragement at their semi-annual circuit assembly to be held in Elgin, April 11, 12, and 13. Fontana said that a peak of over 2,000 are expected to attend the three-day seminar. The recent meetfi^ of presiding ministers with John Stepowoy, special representative of the Watchtower Bible and Tract society of Brooklyn, New York, was for the purpose of planning and organizing the twenty-two convention departments needed to serve the delegates: Providing the food, housing, program of instruction and many other materials and services that will be required. A highlight of this religious assembly will be a public address by A.B. Sutler on the subject, "Law and Order -- When and How'?" The talk will be delivered Sunday at 3 p.m. April 13, at Larkin high school, 1475 Larkin avenue, Elgin. Father John Strazalka, Pastor we've been expecting you On a busy night in New York--or any other city--it pays to be expected. .After our wanderings we crave welcome. There is somewhere else we are expected . . . and welcomed! Here is q|i aspect of religious concern which isn't emphasized enough: Whatever you've done about it, you are conscious of His fact that you need God. But are you aware also that God needs you? Or, putting it another way, do you realize that one of the churches in our community has been expecting you--waiting for you to add your strength to that of your neighbors, your brothers in faith? You don't need a reservation. Only a reverent heart. Copi/nyhf i.969 Knsfrr /Ifin-rnstuf; .SYrrnv. /tic . .Sirnshurp. Va.
