LAKEMOOR - LILYMOOR SHIRLEY SCHUERR 385-2645 APPROVE PROGRAM FOR UPKEEP OF VILLAGE ROADS The village of Lakemoor held 'its regular meeting Thursday, April 10. Mr. Rakow of Baxter; Woodman, village engineers, went over the roads with the village board to set up, a maintenance program for this year. A resolution to appropriate $9,500 of Motor Fuel Tax (M.F.T) funds for the maintenance was passed and approved. Specific work to be done will be presented by the engineer at the May meeting. An ordinance raising the salary of the viltage clerk from $840 a year to $1,200 a year was passed and approved by the board. Now that the warmer weather is here and there will be more daylight the village inspectors will be inspecting homes that are in run-down condition by order of the board. A petition to annex to the village of Lakemoor was presented by Lawrence and Shirley Schuerr. The board will act upon said petition at the next meeting. \^y^. There will be a small charge for the maps to anyone who is interested in purchasing a village map. The next general meeting of the village of Lakemoor will be held Thursday, May 8, at 8 p.m. at the fire-community building. RUMMAGE SALE This coming Friday and Saturday, April 18 and 19, are the big days for the rummage sale sponsored by the Lily moor association. Sale will start at 8 a.m. and run til ?? In talking with two of the workers, Connie Johnson and Marion Leske, they have a lot of nice items for sale. The rummage sale will be held at the Ryan home on the corner pf Lily Lake road and Southside. Come to the sale arid you might just find what you are looking for. The sale might also run Sunday, April 20. While there you can ask the workers and they will let you know about Sunday. Come and see all the nice items for AUXILIARY NEWS The Woman's auxiliary held their monthly meeting Monday, April 7, at the home of Marge Polinski. A report was given on thq pancake breakfast and the Easter egg hunt. Marion Leske chairman of the egg hunt reported that the children that were at the hunt had a very nice time looking for all the eggs that were hidden. Winner of the monthly prize was Marion Leske. Hostesses for the April meeting were Elsie Metz and Marge Polinski. The next monthly meeting wiil be held at the home of Helen Rodde on Monday, May 5, at 7:45 p.m. Hostesses for the May meeting are Helen Rodde and Ruth Young. The auxiliary at this time would like to welcome a new member. The welcome mat is out for Sheila Anderson.
