Presently, he is the assistant pastor of Christ the King church in Wonder Lake. Father Conro received a B.A. in philosophy at Loras college, Dubuque, Iowa. He studied theology at Immaculate Conception seminary, Conception, Mo. Father Conro studied and participated in drama in high school and was assistant director and producer of variety shows while in the Navy. At Conception seminary, Father Conro was the student in charge of the Drama department. He has also been actively involved in variety shows and other productions which include "A Man For All Seasons," "Becket" and "Power And The Glory."
