Give me a call. OFFICIALS FOR VILLAGE SWORN IN AT MEETING A special meeting of the village of Lakemoor was held Thursday, April 24. This meeting was held to swear in the newly elected officials. Village clerk Pat Morrison swore in and Conditions applying to all rates. Further information with respect thereto may be obtained either directly from this Company or by addressing the Secretary of the Illinois Commerce Commission at Springfield, Illinois. A copy of the proposed change in the schedule may be inspected by any interested party at any business office of this Company. NORTHERN ILLINOIS GAS COMPANY By C.J. Pat also swore in Kenneth Massfoeimer as a two year trustee. President Dick Hyatt swore Pat Morrison in as village clerk. Being a special meeting for the swearing in of the newly elected officials no official business was enacted. The board and president presented John Krai with his name plate and thanked him for serving on the board for the past eight years. President Dick Hyatt thanked the people of the village for attending the meeting. He also passed out letters to the clerk and board with recommendations to be brought up on the agenda. A discussion was held on the road work. The board decided to meet with the engineer before proceeding with the road work. CORRECTION ON MEETING DATE The special meeting for the Lilymoor association will not be held in May. It will be held Moriday, June 9, at the Ryan home at 8 p.m. WEDDING BELLS Rang out for two of our young residents in the past couple of weeks. Capt. Harold (Corky) Foss and Miss Judy Perata were united in marriage Saturday, April 12, at St. Louis Cathedral in New Orleans. Corky is a captain in the Marines and is the son of Harold and Marcella Foss of Lakemoor. Judy is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Perata of New Orleans. Don Kibbe was best , man. Corky's brothers, Bob and Ricky, also in the Marines were in the wedding party. Ed Steadman was one of the ushers. Wedding bells rang out for Sue Bitterman and Kenneth Prazak. Sue and Kenneth were united in marriage Saturday, April 19, at St. Patrick's church in McHenry. Sue is the daughter of Frank and Lu Bitterman of Lakemoor. Kenneth is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Prazak of McHenry. Congratulations and may you all celebrate many years of wedded bliss, Corky and Judy, Sue and Kenneth. DOUBLE CELEBRATION Florence Mix celebrated two happy occasions Friday, April 18. She celebrated her birthday and having four generations together for her birthday. To help make it a full and happy day for her were her husband, Willard, her daughter, Gloria Cassell, her grandchildren, Julie, Billy, Johnny, Jim and Judy, and her great-granddaughter, Kristie Sue.
