ORDINANCE WHEREAS: A public hearing was held before the McHenry County Zoning Board of Appeals on April 9, 1969, to consider the application of ARTHUR H. LAU, ANTON WIESER, CATHERINE WIESER, LEO J. SMITH, FLORENCE A. SMITH and MORTON INTERNATIONAL, INC., a Delaware Corporation, to reclassify a certain parcel of land described below from ««p> Farming District to"!-l" - Light Industrial District, and Testimony Was heard oh behalf of petitioners and objectors, and The McHenry County Zoning Board of Appeals, after hearing all testimony, found that the land described below lends itself to reclassification from "F" Farming District to"1-1" Light Industrial District. The Board further found that because of its location and size, the land described below would not lend itself to farming, neither could it be developed into a good residential area. The Board further found and recommended to the McHenry County Supervisors the granting of the petitioners' request for reclassification from "F" Farming District to "1-1" Light Industrial District, with the condition that no direct manufacturing building be built closer than 160 feet to the center line of State Route 31.
