A reminder of the dates of the V.F.W. Department of Illinois convention was read by the secretary. The convention will be held in Peoria on June 20, 21 and 22. The delegates who will represent the auxiliary at the convention are June Schmunk, president, Gerry Breede, Mary Kuemmel, Marge Moreth and Vi Schuble. A "thank you" note was read from Larry Wold, principal of Valley View school. The contents expressed appreciation for the American flag which was recently presented to the school by Inez Young.
