From these finalists, they voted again last week on a choice of king and queen. Disclosure of the reigning pair was not made until Saturday evening. Queen candidates besides Miss Larkin were Cori Wilhelm, Sherry Vogt, Dee Dee Weyland, Lynn Monteleone, Mary Leinhard and Nancy DeWerdU King candidates were John Smith, Gary Fair child, Mike Weingart, Steve George, Tom Janik, Judd Decker and Morenz. Janet Larkin and Mike Morenz, West campus juniors, were crowned queen and king of the 1969 MCHS prom at an impressive ceremony held in the large ballroom of Pheasant Run, St. Charles, last Saturday evening. The 300 young people who attended danced to the music of the times in an atmosphere appropriate to the prom theme, "Athens After Dark". Following the prom, the teen-agers were returned to West campus for an hour of swimming in the pool, followed by breakfast. Plaindealer Photos Lovely ladies and gallant gentlemen form prom court.
