In the lower photo, the late John Anderson poses with daughter, Anna, and in the background, sons, Clarence and Arnold Anderson, in front of their popular Broadway Bar- OFFER SPECIAL TYPE INSURANCE IN CATASTROPHES becue. This picture was taken in 1929, just a year after the barbecue stand, first business to be established on Elm street, was built. At this time, the mill pond still flowed through the property to the rear of the stand. A small shed can be seen to the right, approximately on the site of the present Plaindealer office. PLAINDEALER PHOTO A special type of insurance coverage for persons who might be targets of catastrophe level law suits was outlined for members of the McHenry County Association of Independent Insurance Agents at their May meeting at Algonquin last week. Designed to supplement basic insurance coverage, the policy is called a personal umbrella type coverage, Bruce Smith, assistant casualty superintendent for the Hartford Insurance Grot?), informed association members. The person who can use this special coverage is limited, Smith said, but he told the audience, "As professional insurance men you should know about its features as a service to the people you serve." Smith explained: "If a person is in one of the professions, occupies a prominent position in the business world or is a community leader -- in short, if he is any way connected with success -- he is a prime target for a six or seven-figure lawsuit. This policy does not replace basic liability insurance." r Specific details of the cover^ age were discussed with Ben Frisch, Cary, president of the association, leading the panel. In other business, Leo Krumme, Crystal Lake, chairman for the annual golf outing, said the event has been set for July 29 at the McHenry Country club. Golfing starts at 11:30 a.m. Dinner will be at 7 p.m., and Krumme told members they are welcome to invite personnel of the companies with whom they work as their guests. COUPLE REPEAT VOWS Miss Jean Hocin, daughter of Tony and Sally Hocin, and Robert Gildemeister, son of Mrs. Lucille Gildemeister of Wonder Lake, became man and wife in a beautiful double ring ceremony on May 3 in the Nativity Lutheran church.
