AREA COUPLE ENJOY MEMORIAL DAY CAMPING Mr. and Mrs. William Day of Virginia Avenue spent a most enjoyable Memorial Day weekend camping at Camp Rubidell in Southern Wisconsin along with some thirty friends from the McHenry area. Mr. and Mrs. Day and daughters, Karen, Christie, and Cathy, returned Sunday in time for our rainy weather. VISCOUNTS ENJOY WEEK-END CAMP-OUT Nancy and Linda Randall of Vicotria Street enjoyed a two day camping trip with the McHenry Viscount Drum and Bugle Corps from Saturday morning until Sunday evening. Nancy was initiated into the Corps over the weekend. The campout was at Libertyville and the kids had a great time in spite of the rain. JR. HIGH GRADS PICNIC IN CRYSTAL LAKE The, graduates of the McHenry Junior high held a class picnic, May 28, at Veteran's Acres in Crystal Lake. Vaierie Frett, Alan Cina, Kathy Longhway, Mike Joza, Jeff Hoskins, and John Nohos had a great day playing baseball, football, tennis, horseshoes, darts, frisbees and hiking. The day turned out to be warm and sunny and all the grads had a "fun-time". JOZAS ENTERTAIN CAMPERS • Paul and Liz Joz^had Memorial Day weekend guests, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lents and their three children, Karen, Perry and Mike, arrived in their new camper-trailer to spend the long weekend with the Jozas. Robert and Pat recently purchased the camper,and tried it out by visiting the Jozas. They spent the weekend fishing, water skiing and romping with their children and the five Joza children. The Lents are residents of Arlington Heights. BRUHNS WELCOME NEW GRANDSON Paul and Marylou Bruhnwelcomed a new grandson on May 22 when their daughter-in-law, Linda, gave birth to Matthew Joseph Bruhn, "Matt" for short. Little Matt weighed 4 lbs. 8 ozs., and was born just 12 minutes after Linda arrived following a brisk ride to Victory Memorial hospital in Waukegan. He stayed at the hospital until he weighed 5 lbs., and is now home with his family and big brother, Shane. Our warmest congratulations to the new parents and the new grandparents. Hostesses for the June meeting were Lee Bassi and Pearle Stineman. Winner of the monthly prize was Pearle Stineman. Due to so many members going on va^tions during the months Of^Jtuy^id August there will be no meetings for those two months. If there should be anything important come up, a special meeting will be called. The next general meeting will be held Monday, Sept. 8, at the home of Marylyn LoPresti at 7:45 p.m. Hostesses for the September meeting are Marion Leske and Marylyn LoPresti.
