IRA SANCTIONED !! ,f\ SAGA OF LOST KITTEN -- If you were a small, living bundle of fur that was lost or abandoned, what would you do? If you were smart, you would do exactly what this kitten (one blue eye, one green) did last Monday. First, you would select a kindly looking young lady, make her aware of your presence and then make sure you used every wile in your possession to work your way into her affectipnsi. When you were firmly entrenched -- and only then --you^wogld .feel free to show her, and everyone around, that you were taking over. That's what this smart ball of fur did in the Plaindealer office last Monday. After making a complete tour of the building and becoming thoroughly acquainted, it selected the small office of Helen Seborg. In settling down amidst a large dictionary and a stapler, kitty convinced its benefactor that it knew all the workings of |Ms newspaper business. But deadlines are for humans, and worry only makes for aging lines, so kitty decided to let Helen proceed with the typing while it stole a little cat nap. We don't guarantee the "youngster" will contribute substantially to anything |n your household except the recreation hour, where it promises to shine. Kitty is offered free, but only to a home that promises to make him -- or her -- a real part of the family! PLAINDEALER PHOTOS Martha Tells Why! The action, according to General Services Director Raynor F. Sturgis Jr., is in keeping with "Gov. Richard B. Ogilvie's commitment to reduce state expenditures. "These policies will help the administration accomplish its goal by expanding the pool use of autos and establishing rigid requirements to justify permanent assignment of a state vehicle to an individual."
