Father John Strazalka, Pastor Highways, superhighways, turnpikes, freeways, expressways-- they ciisscross America, leading in every imaginable direction. And, they get you there so fast, you are past the right exit before you know it. We live in such a speed-oriented world that, when we are not working, we feel we must "hurry up and relax." At times we even feel guilty when we are not busy about something. We don't really like our foolish pace. We speak longingly of peace of mind and quietude, and we take tranquilizers by the ton. We search frantically ... on vacations,, on "lost weekends," on "fun activities" ... but tranquility is hard to find. Perhaps we are seeking too hard. Perhaps tranquility is not to be sought. Rather, isn't it what happens when you are at peace with yourself, no matter the circumstances? Yott can be at peace with yourself only when you are at peace with God. He is the very center of your being, and His peace is freely given when you aapept it. ,A ' Accept this great gift of Godl^n the ve^b^placfrj^ll--,, His Church. v ' .
