This may be true in your case, but, here are a^ew facts concerning scratchy, irritating, yet non-catching Erythema Solare - (better known as sunburn). A leading dermatologist had this to say: "Sun ages the skin. Too much/ of it over long periods des troys the elastic fibers*tnrcon- nective tissues, and they be come degenerated. These fibers are like rubber bands and hold the skin taut. If you overdo --^itr even with a tan, the rays get down into the connective tissues". Although, there are many preparations sold today to help you get a tan or relieve a sun burn, there is no preparation made that will replace good common sense. Remember, summer is far too short to waste recuperating from a bad burn that could have been avoided. Remember, too, before you leave on your vacation, stop by BOLGER'S DRUG STORE 1259 N. FLAMES GUT WONDER LAKE HOME SUNDAY After gutting the kitchen, a fire in the home of William Bukovski, 7608 South Drive, Wonder Lake, burned itself out on July 27. Bukoski and his family were away from the house watching a movie. Upon their return, at 12:15 a.m., they were greeted by clouds of black smoke. Although the cause is unde- . termined, the fire apparently began in the kitchen. All the doors and windows in the house were tightly shut. Burning in the closed area, the flames eventually consumed all the available oxygen. When the air supply was gone, the fire could not spread any further. By the time Bukovski had called the Wonder Lake fire de partment, the flames were al ready extinguished. No estimate of the damage could-bp-sjede.
