Miss McNally is the daugh­ ter of Mr. and Mrs. James McNally, Jr., of Rt. 1, Volo, Round I>ake, and Mr. McDon- ough Is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William J. McDonough of 309 Greenvalley, Napervllle. Two stand baskets of white gladioli and green mums dec­ orated the altar. The charming bride selected a floor length gown of white silk bombazine and chantilly lace, the bodice fashioned with scalloped neckline and long, lace sleeves. Her skirt was tiered and bouffant, with de­ tachable chapel length train. The heatfciece was a crown of pearls with imported illusion fingertip bouffant veil. She car­ ried a bouquet of stephanotis, miniature mums and a white orchid. Attending Miss McNally were Marcia Vasey of Crystal Lake as maid of honor and her five sisters, Karen Shaver of Mc­ Henry, Candee, Jaimie, Joy and Jill McNally of Volo as brides­ maids. All were attired in floor length gowns featuring emerald pletely new repertoire of mus­ ic and entertainment. On the twenty-seventh the club will have its second an­ nual Halloween party. This is designated as a "hard times" costume party, with prizes giv­ en for the ingenuity and beauty of costumes. This will be a fun night for everyone. Plans are being made for the bus tour to Burlington, Wis., on Wednesday, Nov. 12. Ar­ riving at Burlington the group will have lunch and then pro­ ceed on a tour through the Nestles Candy factory. Louise Giel is taking reservations for this tour. Reservations for bus accommodations will be on a first-come basis Arrangements are going for­ ward in preparation for the sec­ ond annual Christmas party on Dec. 8. It is hoped that this party will be even nicer than the last, which is a high tar­ get for the committee. Jason Robert English is the new member of the Thomas English family of McCullom Lake. He was born Oct. 2 at Memorial hospital, Woodstock. He has a sister, June, 8, and a brother, Jon, 6, who wel­ comed him home as their play­ mate. His maternal grandpar­ ents are Mr. and Mrs. John M a c K e n z i e o f W a t e r t o w n , Mass., and the paternal ones are Mr. and Mrs. Joseph English of McHenry. Mrs. McDonough was attired in a beige lace dress, brown acces­ sories and a white cymbidium orchid corsage. A reception followed the cer­ emony for 100 guests at the Holiday House. Later, the new- lyweds left on a wedding trip to Michigan. They will make their home in Grayslake. The bride is a graduate of Wauconda high school. Her hus­ band attended Marmion Mili­ tary academy and Round Lake high school. PLAN SMORGASBORD St. Agatha Court, No. 777, of the N.C.S.F., will hold a smorgasbord luncheon at Dun­ dee on Oct. 15. Area Church Opens Holiday Village" Nov. 5 Wednesday, Nov. 5, has been set as the day of the holiday season bazaar sponsored by members of the Women*s So­ ciety of Christian Service of the First United Methodist church of Crystal Lake. "Holiday Village", the name chosen for this year's bazaar, will offer a wide variety of handmade items for children, home decoration, gifts and hol­ iday specialties, as well as homemade baked goods and other kitchen delights. Shops will be open at the church all day on Nov. 5, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. The snack bar will be open to refresh shoppers throughout the day. Guest speaker for the evening was Dr. Edward Wilt, who gave an il­ lustrated lecture on "The Shroud of Turin", (the cloth in which the body of Jesus was wrapped for burial). His most informative program concern­ ing the mystery surrounding "The Shroud of Turin" was met with great enthusiasm by those in attendance. The first grade room moth­ ers, Mrs. Charles Gies and Mrs. Paul Freund, were in charge of refreshments for the evening. Attendance award was won ,by Mrs. Useman's fifth grade room. Many interesting speakers are scheduled on the Home and School calendar for the year. Her sub­ ject will be " The Population Ex­ plosion and its Problems." On the side will be bakery goods and holiday notions avail­ able for purchase. SHOP IN McHENRY new production "Fiorello". The players come from all parts of McHenry county and have given four productions since they were founded in 1968. These were a musical melodrama, "No, No A Million Times No", the enduring comedy, "You Can't Take It With You", a mystery, "Web of Murder", and a second musical melodrama "Dirty Work at the Cross­ roads". The shows were so well received by Opera House audiences that the players were encouraged to do the ambitious and dynamic musical, "Fiorel­ lo". The Townsquare Players do­ nated many man-hours of time and purchased material this summer to renovate some of the historic Opera House inter­ ior. Theatre-goers will be greatly surprised at the dra­ matic results achieved from the patching and painting. The mu­ sical will be presnted Friday and Saturday, Nov. 7 and 8, urday and Sunday, Nov. 15 and 16.
