Main Street McHenry, Illinois Here And There IN BUSINESS Harry Hoffman Retires From Bank President ' Harry Stinespring, chairman of the board of the First Na­ tional Bank of McHenry, an­ nounced the retirement of Har­ ry J. Hoffmann, age 73, as pres­ ident of that -bank, effective Jan. 31, 1970. Mr. Hoffmann had previously retired from an­ other suburban bank and had a- greed to assist in the forma- finn and initial operations of The First National Bank here. In a ceremony at the bank on Saturday, Jan. 31, Mr. Hoffmann was presented with a com­ mendation from the board of direcors and a silver tray from the directors and staff. The commendation and tray were engraved to express the bank's appreciation to Mr. Hoffmann for the advice, counsel and many hours he contributed in the devlopment of the new bank. Mark, of McHenry and Mrs. Anna Reinwall also of McHen­ ry- ' jf Home once again from the hospital is Vince Tonyan, and not neglected as all his chil­ dren were happy to see him home and came to visit. They are Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Bruce and children, Wendy and Wade, of Ringwood, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Petska and son, Chris, of rural Ringwood. Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Culvey of Belvidere and Phyllis V.A. and her brood enjoyed roast beef dinner at the Clayton Bruce home Sunday.
