What better time of the year than now to remember the verse, "Love thy neighbor as thyself', (Mark 12:31). Attend the church of your choice Eas ter Sunday. ODDS AND ENDS We were glad to see that new signs and street markers are being installed in the village and would like to commend the board on their foresight to replace them. Where would we be with out signs? Also, you'd be sur prised what a little paint, or a little mending or just some old- fashioned elbow grease could do for our village. We have the potential for a really beauti ful village! With everyone's combined effort we could make it a showplace! Remember when the spring-cleanup truck comes around it will pick up just about anything, (you will be no tified of the date) take advan- tabe of it. After all ifs paid for.by village funds. LONGEST RESIDENT? We received a call from Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Crick's daugh ter informing us that her par ents have resided in the village 32 years as of May 1, that's a long time to live in one com munity! They reside at 4920 arkview and I bet they could ally spin some yarns about our village! ; Well has anyone lived here longer than the Cricks? Remember as we said before, there's no prize for this, just thought it would be inter esting to know. Legal Notice On the 18th day of March, 1970, the President and cor porate authorities adopted an Ordinance Regulating Motor Vehicles in the Village of Mc CulIom Lake. Three copies of this Ordinance shall be filed in the Village Clerk's office for use and examination by the public. Jean R. Garner (?ub.
