Allen avenue, Mc­ Henry, was commissioned July 23 an Army second lieutenant in the Corps of Engineers ig>on graduation from the U.S. Army Engineer Officer Candidate school. Ft. Belvoir, Va. The lieutenant received twen- ty-three weeks of instruction which included training in me­ chanical and technical equip­ ment, topography? and military science and engineering. Diane Muskovin gave a talk on the project tour; Linda Mus­ kovin talked about the swimming party and Joanne Harrer then told about the family picnic. Karen Fergan spoke of the base­ ball game and the fair. Under new business, Cindy Harris read the constitution and talked about new projects to take place next year. Sue Cable gave a demonstration on "Dog Care", Am Curran gave one on "Deviled Eggs" and Jo­ anne Harrer talked on "Press­ ing".
