They were: Mr. Rogers, Mr. Blake, Mr. Mclnerny, and Mr. Dougherty. Refreshments were served and entertainment was provided by the G.A.A. board members. The newly elected G.A.A. of ficers for 1970-71 are as fol lows: President-Pam Shaffer; 1st Vice-President - Shirley Jenkira; 2nd Vice-President - Marge Mclnereny; Secretary- Treasurer - Lorrie DeWerdt; Points Chairman - Vicki Pet erson; General Sports Mana ger - Linda Bender; Assis tant Sports Managers - Jackie Whitney and Joyce Heard; So cial Chairman - Chris Sween ey; Publicity Chairman - Robin Perrino. Like the Last of the Mo hicans, Louie was the last of the Go-Go Sox team of the A1 Lopez era. We suggested to Petie that instead of his horrible decision he should consider lining up with Milwaukee. Believe it or not, we got out of McHenry County on Wednes day of this week. On our way home from Fox Lake we saw golfers on the fairways at Mal- pede's Pistakee Golf Course. Any body else offer that kind of service? by Bill Blankenhorn The junior varsity swimming Warriors tied Harlem of Rock ford in a dual meet Tuesday 47-47. Hie Warriors took six first places including a record breaking performance by Freshman John Sek in the 200 yd. individual medley with a time of 2:56.5. John broke his own record of 2:58.8 set last week against Hersey. Also taking first place hon ors for McHenry were Kreut- zer (diving), Voorhees (100 yd. butterfly), Watkins (100 yd. freestyle), Topp (100 yd. back stroke) and the 400 yd. free style relay team of Cashin, Stilling, Sek and Watkins. Against Hersey last week there were three Frosh-Soph records broken as the 200 yd. medley relay team of Topp, Long, Sek and Fry posted a best time of 2:10.7 while Sek swam a record 2:58.8 200 yd. individual medley and Topp had a record 1:17.1 time for the 100 yd. backstroke. Speaking of service reminds us of two newcomers to our ar ea who told us last week that McHenry should write to the Chicago and Northwestern Rail way Co., and ask for more trains. Just like that! We reviewed a little his tory on that subject. North western said, "Get the people and we will add the trains." McHenry said, "Give us the North Suburban be the varsity quadrangular to be held here on Saturday, Dec. 12. The participating teams will be Crown, Round Lake and Geneva ; along with the Warriors.
