A question that most people would like ans wered for them in this time of „ peril. R.L. Balzer, a traveling rep resentative of the Watchtower Bible and Tract society, ans wered that question Sunday, Jan. 24, to an audience of 1,108 as he delivered the main ad dress of their three-day cir cuit assembly at Jehovah's Wit nesses Assembly hall, 7857 South Ashland Avenue, Chicago. Mr. Balzer used the Bible Books of Daniel and Revelation to show that "instead of the East or West conquering the world, both will Jje brought to their end, crushed by a conqueror ordained and empow ered by Almighty God himself! Six-thousand years of human history ar6 due to run out in State Senator Karl Berning poses with Mary Durkee of Libertyville, Miss Lake County, and Miss Cindy Bird of Crystal Lake, Miss McHenry County. Both young ladies were finalists the Miss Illinois County Fair pageant. in the mid 1970*s, according to reliable Bible chronology. This is nothing more than six days on God's calendar for His Word tells us that a thousand years are as but a day with God. His rule is that the seventh day is to be a day of rest for mankind, so the restful thousand-year reign of Jesus Christ lies im mediately ahead of us. But first he must conquer this world in the Bible-promised War of Ar mageddon. Christ will lead his heavenly forces into this bat tle against human kings and mil itary forces according to Rev elation 17:12, 14. Human Chris tians here on the earth will not fight but will enjoy the pro tection of God and Christ during the war".
