About 100 friends gathered at the town hall in Spring Grove Saturday evening and enjoyed an old fashion dance given by Silas Pierce in honor of his son, Mark. "Dick" Toleson received a basal skull fracture in an au­ tomobile accident and is in a critical condition in the Wood­ stock hospital. On Tuesday morning of this week amidst a heavy fog and a fine mist, McHenry's two mail carriers, Paul Karls and Rich­ ard Weber, began their duties delivering mail throughout the city.
