This is a theme of the Lesson- Sermon on "Matter" to be heard at' McHenry Christian Science church services Sunday. These words of the Apostle Paul to the Corinthians will be included in the Bible selec tions : "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold* things are become new." A passage to be read from Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy states: "Willingness to become as a little child and to leave the old for the new, renders thought receptive of the advanced idea. Gladness to leave the false landmarks and joy to see them disappear, - this disposition helps to precipitate the ultimate harmony. The purification of sense and self is a proof of progress." How ever, durable press bedding and draperies are bulky and may overload the home washer, par ticularly if it is an older model. Durable press fabrics require a special washing cycle and a long er cool-down period for drying, to decrease wrinkles. If your home washer does not have the proper settings for durable press, it 's best to use a neighborhood coin laundry which has equipment to do the job properly. evening tor Sioux Narrows, Ontario, Canada, where they will operate a motel for the summer months. For years he and Grace had been planning. There would be that little pink house in Florida and time to do all the things they wanted. They could keep in touch with their friends back home, and there would be occasional visits back and forth. What they hadn't realized was how much they would miss their church. It had been such a part of their life! Now it seemed that no other church could fill the gap. In fact, they didn't go to another church their first few weeks in Florida. But finally one Sunday they went to the little church they had been passing each day on the way to the golf course. True, it wasn't like the church back home--outwardly. But, when you got down to essentials, it was the same. „ If'you have moved to another community, find a new church home. Regardless of its appearance, remember Y .L-oir that it is God's House and in it you will be welcome. •MM J < ; >'«><£-% v , v - i Wednesday Colossians 7 . 79-29 Friday H e b r e w s 6 : 1 - 1 2 Saf urday I Peter 7:7-9 T u e s a a y P s a l m s 1 3 0 : 1 - 8 Thursday T i t u s 2 : 1 1 - 1 4 Int , Strasburg, Virginia Sunday Monday C o l o s s i a n s H e b r e w s 1 : 1 - 6 3 : 1 - 6 Scriptures selected by the American Bible Society Copyright 197T Keister Advert ising SIM Chain O'Lakes Evangelical Covenant Churdi 4815 N.
