PAGE 15-PI AINDEALER, FRIDAY, MARCH 26, 1971 TRANSPORTATION PLANS OUTLINED IN NEW STUDY (Continued from page 1) gencies in the county prior to the end of March. This is not a final plan but as the title suggests, a working document on which implementation de cisions may be based. Just as regional goals and activities change over time, so must a plan. The annual review and up dating of the regional transpor tation plan is the objective of joint programs now being de veloped by the Chicago Area Transportation Study and other regional planning agencies. Officer Lee Paul Persons of Roberts road, McHenry, was driving an Island Lake squad car Wednesday morning about 2 o'clock on south Nish road in pursuit of a white automobile. Working as co-chairman is Bill Ragan, youth director at the Wauconda Baptist church and also a student at Trinity seminary, Deerfield. PRESENTS BUDGET TALK (Continued from page 1) ramifications of state govern ment. One surprising fact that Mr. Hanahan gave to the membership was that the city of Chicago pays more into the state than they take out because of the many business concerns in the city. He also pointed out that McHenry county gets very little from the state of Illlinois when it comes to their priority programs since it does not have one inch of four-lane highway; also the county has no mental health facility.
