HUNTING TRIP A couple of Wonder Lake's finest sportsmen, Joe Sullivan and Art Doyle, recently left the simple life in Wonder Lake for a ten day hunting adventure in the land where the deer and antelope still roam. Our hun­ ters mounted horses which took them through the wilds of Montana for a five day hunt for elk. Being on horseback for five days was an experience all its own. Sleeping in sleeping bags protected by a lean-to in some mightly cold weather was part of their "roughing it" and the meals prepared by their cowboy guide from cans couldn't compare with the good home cookin' by Sharon and Pat the fellows are accustomed to. Though the elk were unusually scarce for the beginning of the hunting season, Art and Joe were successful in their remaining five day hunt and are shipping home both deer and antelope.
