Little Tommie Wonder won first prize in the 5 and under contest, his costume was a Jack-in-the-Box and it was just darling. Cute John Baird-took second place dressed as a clown, and a great clown he was. In the six to eight class John Dammiano won first prize, pressed as the infamous vampire Count Dracula. Second prize went to a girl dressed as a gypsy, sorry to say that her name is not known. * In the nine to twelve class first prize went to Dawn McKim, Dawn was a Ballerina, second prize was won by Lisa Penny who was dressed as a witch. Prizes were also awarded for acting out the mode of their dress. Prizes went to Tim Morris, Tom was hilarious as a Go-Go Girl and to Steve Lengeman as Mother Hubbard? Jack Caron as a Hobo and Tracy Wright as a Fairy Godmother. The party was given by the Cullom Knoll Association. Just a few words on the conduct of the Trick or Treaters. Without an exception, they were polite and fun loving. The village can be proud of their actions. Markie Grim sure looked cute as an alligator, and little Nicole Beiers was a dream in her clown outfit. The Knaack children, Lorrie, J.R., Jimmy and Sherry, were all as cute as can be in their various costumes. Actually so were all of the children out on that day.
