In Crystal Lake at 459-8315 is a 1-year-old female German Shepherd-Toy Collie mix about lVfe feet tall, brown and black, housebroken, good with kids and has had all shots. In McHenry at 385-8864 is a 2- year-old purebred male Beagle, mostly brown and white, housebroken, all shots, good with kids and a food watchdog. In McHenry at 385-4288 is a 6- month-old spayed and declawed female calico kitty, completely litter trained. Gramma can't take care of her anymore. In Carpentersville at 428-5993 is a 1-year-old female Spaniel mix pup, white with tan spots, housebroken, good with kids and cats, all shots, and half of the spaying cost will be paid if this pup goes to a good home. We have a 4^-week-old male golden long haired kitten with blue eyes and a pug-like face, a black and gold tiger stripe female kitten and a grey and white 7-week- old semi-long hair female kitten. Staying at 459-8163 is a darling grey and white semi long hair kitten, 10 weeks old. In Algonquin at 658-5372 are 2 three-month-old female Cock-a- Poo puppies. In McHenry at 385-8589 is a 10-month-old female Toy Collie, housebroken and loves children. In Wonder Lake at 653-6922 is a two-year-old male Pug, 12 inches long, tan and dark tan with black muzzle, very af­ fectionate. Also at this number are two nice tiger stripe male kittens, litter trained. At 459-3447 are three 10-week- old female part Dachshund pups. At 459-2689 are nine 7-week- old Brittany Spaniel puppies. Found, a possibly 3-4-month- old part Dachshund puppy wearing a leather collar, call 459-6325 for information. 25 Tons Are Collected On Good Turn Day With typical fall weather prevailing, the Scouts of Kish- waukee district, Blackhawk area council, carried out a successful Good Turn Day Saturday, Nov. 13, according to John Pearce, Huntley district executive, The Scouts and volunteer Scouters collected twenty-five tons of clothing, housewares and small appliances. This material will be taken to the Goodwill Industries workshops, where it will be used in a rehabilitation program for the physically handicapped people. This is the only salvage rehabilitation agency serving local residents. Some 1,600 Cubs, Scouts, and Explorers and volunteer Scouters participated in this Good Turn Day featuring service to others. The Scouts distributed 16,000 specially printed Boy Scouts bags and leaflets in this area. Goodwill Industries in this area requires two and VA million lbs., of clothing and 75,000 boxes of miscellany and pieces of furniture to employ and train 200 disabled men and women. Goodwill aims to rehabilitate nearly 30 percent of its clients each year. Nationally the agency serves over 75,000 handicaps at no cost to the taxpayers.
