BY Carol WILY AT 459-0511 Helping Paws has an ex cellent assortment of fluffy, friendly kittens on hand at the moment! If you've been con sidering a kitten for a Christ mas gift, why not do a little early shopping and acquire a kitty now? Due to the reproductive cycle of female cats (there is, believe it or not, a short relatively dormant period during the winter!), kittens are not in as plentiful supply in late December as they are right now. Moreover, kittens (as well as cats, dogs and puppies) do not make good under-the-tree-on- Christmas-morning type gifts. Getting the kitten now will give it plenty of time to adjust to your way of life so that it will be a happy and accepted member of the family by the time the hectic holidays are upon you. These are the pets up for adoption for a donation: These straps are at the Woodstock-Veterinary clinic at 338-0132.
