Annual Snow Ball Dance Is Fine Success The sixteerith annual Snow Ball dinner and dance Saturday evening is now only a memory, but a memory that will linger with pleasantness and an ticipation of next year's event. The Lakeland Park Women's club recorded a very successful first, since as in previous years the Snow Ball was just a dance. The dinner was delicious, beautifully served, the decorations very colorful, and the music superb. The officers and committees were very happy with the results, and are already looking for new ideas and ways to try to improve on a most wonderful event. • The crowd was lively and enthusiastic. As the evening drew to a close, the most popular remarks heard were "See you at the Lakeland Park Women's club seventeenth annual Snow Ball dinner dance!" A twelve-year-old girl wasn't as fortunate-she was strangled to death when her scarf caught in the floywheel of the snowmobile she was riding. Here's advice given by the National Safety council: To enjoy snowmobiling safely, dress comfortably for wind and weather conditions-but avoid wearing long scarves or other loose-fitting apparel which may become entangled in moving BENEFIT BAKE SALE A special Christmas bake sale will be held Saturday, Dec. 11, at the Old Forge in Wilmot, Wis., as a benefit for the Old Wilmot Village association.
