The Woodstock Veterinary clinic thought enough of this Labrador to take care of the operation on his leg which was hurt in a car ac­ cident in McHenry. He is in a cast now and on medication but will be all well and ready for adoption for the usual donation. Please call 459-0511 if you would like this special dog. Donations received from the adoption of pets in our care and also pets listed where families no longer want them are put in our shelter fund for McHenry county and the surrounding areas. Many thanks to all the wonderful people who have given homes to all the cats and kittens these past two weeks. We are overwhelmed and very grateful! We also have placed four of the darling puppies left on the doorstep of a church in Crystal Lake. We still have two all black, seven-week-old male puppies that are still waiting for a home. He is housebroken, loves children and leaves the Christmas tree alone. One of our Helping Paws helpers is caring for a 7-week- old female Dachshund mix puppy. He is black with brown paws and looks exacUy like a Doxy. We would prefer her to go to a home without small children as she is very tiny. Call 385-4594. Some dog lovers in Crystal Lake have been feeding a female black spaniel type dog for quite a while and now have found her and her five puppies in one of their garages. The whole family is up for adoption, please call 459-6325. At 459-0511 is a female 5- month-old calico kitten. She loves everyone, even my grouchy dog! At 459-6325 is a 3-year-old purebred black Afghan, male. Also staying at this number are five 6-week-old kittens. One is a grey tiger while the others are a pretty soft grey color. She also has a 10-month-old male neutered tabby cat and an &- month-old female tiger kitty. At 639-4495 is a 3-year-old female grey cat and her two 5- month-old kittens. One is an all white female and the other is an all black male. In Wonder Lake at 653-7526 is a 3-month-old female Irish Setter, German Shepherd mix, apricot with a white chest, housebroken a>^ good with children. In Carpentersville aD1^8-4714 is an 11-month-old male Airedale mix. He is very friendly, housebroken, good with kids, and very af­ fectionate. In Woodstock at 338-3891 is a 1-year-old male Shepherd Labrador mix, black and white, loves children and has had a distemper shot last summer.
