Mary Ellen Shannon of Rich­ mond, a friend of the bride, was maid of honor. A friend of the groom, Bill Gancar of Wood­ stock, served as best man. Following the service, a reception for 150 guests was held at St. Peter's church hall. The bride is a 1970 graduate of Richmond-Burton high school. Her bridegroom graduated from Woodstock high school in 1969 and attended McHenry County college for two years. He is presently serving in the Army Air For­ ces.
