Also, some of the street signs have been turned around the wrong way If there is a street sign in front of your house, please keep an eye on it If the Rescue Squad is hampered in its e'fort to reach a home, it could mean the difference between life and death , COMPLETE TRAINING As you probably know, the McHenrv Rescue Squad began its service to the community Jan 10. Lakeland Parkers, Paul Heber and Richard Waychunas. were among the twenty-five rescue squad members who completed their basic Red Crqss first aid training course. DRAINAGE DITCH PROBLEM It has been reported that there is a lot of junk being thrown into the drainage ditch. The water cannot flow properly when it is clogged with such things as tires, logs and the "no swimming" signs. Please tell your children that it creates serious problems when they throw things in the creek. Remember the floods? Ackerman Family Enjoys Sights On Florida Trip We are happy to report that Charles and Beverly Ackerman and their five children made it home safely from their trip to Florida. They reported that they saw many accidents. Some serious. While there over the long holidays they visited the newly opened Disney World. On the first day there they had over 50,000 people and on the second stop there were only 22,000 persons. One of the most fun things they did was to stay at a Yogi Bear Park, and there they enjoyed helicopter rides over the surrounding area. Think they must have brought back half of Florida with shells, grapefruit, oranges, lemons, limes and more. Glad you made it such fun. They highly recommend the trip to the park if ever you get the chance. It's truly family fun!
