Ringwood News Girl Scouts Start Annual Cooky Sales Mrs. Judy Rich, a leader for Troop 88 of which the junior Scouts in Ringwood are members, announced that the girls will be soliciting sales for Girl Scout cookies. The girls benefit directly from cookie sales because part of the money received goes into their troop treasury for their activities. W.S.C.S. The Women's Society of Christian Service will hold its regular meeting on Wed­ nesday, March 8, in the home of Mrs. Mary Butler in McHenry. Dessert-coffee will be served at 12:30. Mrs. Willis Walker will present the program. NEW IN COMMUNITY Mr. and Mrs. Robert Fore, with their 8-month old son, Bobby, have recently moved into the former Ben Walkington hdme. We extend a warm welcome to them. This past weekend was a busy one for the Brennan, Hepburn home as on Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Case and Mrs. Case's mother all of Green Bay, Wis., stopped by to visit, and Mrs. Bertha Hanson of Wilmot, Wise., also stopped by. HAPPY BIRTHDAY We start the week with little Johnnie Schmalcs, Jr., celebrating his birthday on March 5 and on March 7 Clayton Bruce has his day and on the eighth Robert Leslie Low has his day. She is very friendly and c&n be reached at 658-7666. At 815-455-0566 or 459-0511, are two brown female puppies that resemble a Doberman. Although they are sisters, one will definitely be a small dog while the other more medium sized. At 658-4376 is a very friendly Coonhound mix female pup about eight months old, black with tan feet and stockings. She is an excellent outside dog. At 459-3521 are four 4V2 week old part Brittany Spaniel puppies. One is all black, one is black and tan and two are tri­ color, all males, beautifully marked. We have a 2Vi month old female Shepherd Husky mix puppy, silver, black and white up for adoption. She will be a large adult dog. In Marengo at 923-4369 is a 5-6 month old male German Shepherd black and tan with pretty stand up ears. He is very gentle and good with children. Helping Paws is caring for a 2-3 month old female Shepherd Malemute puppy, black, white and silver, very cute. Call 459- 0511 for more information. He is housebroken and very gentle. At 312-526-6175 are seven 5 week old terrier mix puppies, 5 male, 2 female, tri-colored, will be medium size when grown. At 385-6239 is an 8 week old female Shepherd-Whippit puppy, black and white with taffy on face, paper trained. In Wonder Lake at 653-9257 are nine six week old part Collie puppies, (tan and white) and (black and white), will be medium size. In Woodstock at 338-4326 is an 18 week old female Cockapoo Schnoodle, black and white, housebroken and loaves children. Also in Woodstock at 338-4326 is a one year old male Cockapoo Chihuahua with black short hair, is less than 15" at shoulder, housebroken and is good with children. A Helping Paws' gal at 459- 6325 has a variety of cats and kittens, all strays at all times. "Tag", an all black female 4 month old kitten is available by calling our office at 815-455- 0566. Lost "Ike", a 7 year old male Family Ice Capades Trip Set March 12 Some fifteen . persons are presently registered for the Lake Region YMCA bus trip to Chicago Stadium. She is charcoal with a white chest and paws named "Snoopy". Lost at 312-526-2133 is a 4V2 month old white Shepherd female pup, all white with brown inside her ears. At 815-568-7040 is a two year old female chocolate brown Labrador, very friendly. At 459-6395 is a 7-8 month old male Welsh and Schnauzer mix dark brown puppy. At 658-8101 is a Collie Shepherd male about 18 months old, honey colored with black tippings wearing a choke collar. Found in Crystal Lake. Staying at 658-4376 in Algonquin after being in a car accident on Algonquin blacktop, is a 5 month old male Beagle type pup. He has a slightly injured paw but otherwise is fine. A four month old male Malemute, black and white was found. Call 459-9426 for more information. A beautiful female Sealpoint Siamese cat was found in Marengo and is being cared for at 459-0511 in Crystal Lake. MARCH 3, 1972 IN TANDEM - This Sunday, March 5, Norman and Sandra Dieti will appear at the McHenry high school West campus auditorium for one show, ft will begin at 7:30 p.m. TANDEM, as their program is called, consists of original short plays for two players. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. Mr. Dietz' play, "Deus Ex Machinist," will be the highlight of the evening. It will be accompanied by some of his other fine plays, including "O, To Be Living, O, To Be Dying" and "The Apple Bit".
