Ringwood News Martins Observe Golden Wedding In Florida Home Fnends in the area I'm sure would like to know that Mr. and Mrs Clinton Martin celebrated their fiftieth anniversary on Sb turday. April 1, in their home in Florida Hank and Ferol Tomlinson and daughters, Lynn and Ijee, left last Thur­ sday to be with Perol's parents for this great occasion. Miss Helen Wallace and fiance, Berl Wiidermuth. accompanied the Tomlinsons to Florida I'm sure Clint and Minnie would like to hear from some of their friends in the area for such a great occasion Their address is Mr. and Mrs Clinton Martin -- Rt 1 Box 142, Sum- merfield, Florida, 32691 VISITORS Easter weekend visiters in the Frank Harrison home were daughter, Evelyn Zvoner, and twosons, Markahd Craig They got to spend the w hole weekend with grandpa and grandma Harrison Easter dinner guests at the Walt Low home were his sister and husband Walt and Alice Mae Wilcox of Woodstock Afternoon callers were Sue Erwin and children of Wood­ stock and Pat and Dave Miller and boys Easter Sunday was a very busy day of visiting with friends and relatives, ai the Brennan-Hepburn home. Callers there included Mr and Mrs Russell Soddy of Kenosha; Mrs Soddy is Mrs. Hepburn's sister Mr and Mrs. Kenpeth Brennan and family dropped by with Mrs Brett- nan's mother and step-father, Mr. and Mrs Austin of Min­ nesota. and her brother, Jim Swistalo of Chicago. Other visitors included Mr and Mrs Kenhndia and family of Chicago Monday, Katy Christopher visited her mother in Janesville with Patty and David ac­ companying her Ijnda and Gary Hosier were home from school to spend the Faster holiday with their parents, Monte and Dorothy Hosier Alice Peet and Florence Smith of Elgin went out for dinner and riding around the countryside. While riding around they visited Aunt Grace in Woodstock Jackie and Dick Crosby spent the Easter holiday with their parents in Macomb W.SC.S. On Wednesday, April 12, members and guests of the Women's Society of Christian Service will meet at the Ringwood church at 11:30 a m. to drive to Woodstock to the Methodist church for a lun cheon and program. This will take the place of our regular monthly meeting in April. If you wish to attend but do not have transportation, please contact Doris Low 653-9262 or Katy Christopher 728-0295. The Sewing-Work Group met in the home of Alice Peet this past week. Even though everyone was busy sewing, cutting or gluing there was still time for a lot of good con­ versation. EASTER SERVICES Even though five o'clock was terribly early for your reporter to be up it was worth it in order to join others from our com­ munity at the Easter Sunrise Service conducted by young people of the parish We were very happy to be able to greet so many of our friends and neighbors at regular ten o'clock services and to say "hello" to our young folks who were home for the holiday. Last week Art Baker was taken to the hospital feeling very poorly, and in pain We didn't hear the outcome so may we wish you the most speedy recovery in the world Art. Hope that you are home by the time we reach the press. SURPRISE SURPRISE!!! Surprise and happy birthday were the words shouted to Doris Low by her many friends and neighbors this past Wed­ nesday night Her daughter, Pat was the culprit who helped surprise her mom. Refresh­ ments were served to the many who attended HOME-SWEET-HOME John and (\irlev' Skid more have returned home after a lengthy vacation. They did stop and visit with Bill and Mer­ cedes Hoffman, and reported that they are happy and well. Then on to Hot Springs for 2 weeks, then back to the ole buggy and went to Fort Worth, Tex , to visit with daughter, Betty, and family. While there they visited the St. Padre Isles Very nice place to go. After returning home they spent Easter with Bill and Jackie Creutz of Mc Henry. Dianne Skid more and daughters also had Easter dinner with them. HAPPY BIRTHDAY April finds Doris Low celebrating her 40th"? bir­ thday, (Didn't say how many plus.) and we see the tenth is a very busy day for Wade Bruce, Martha Beaman, Shirley Cristy, Bruce Harrison, Howard Walkington, Audry Walker and Christopher Rich.
