I HOME AT LAST Roy Ingram arrived home from Germany early Monday morning. He was welcomed by Ns wife, Kathy. his mom and dad, Mr. and Mrs Morris Ingram, his sister Mrs Rowan (Wanda) Mint on and family, his brother Harold Parrish and family, and his wife's family He and Kathy will reside in Woodstock. NURSERY NEWS A tiny baby girl made her debut into this world on April 6 in the Sherman Hospital. She weighed in at 5 lbs , 8 ozs., and was named Denise Marie. Charles E. and Jean Thornton are the proud parents and reside in MCCullom Lake. Maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. John Lucarz of Wonder Lake and great- grandmother on her mother's side is Mrs. Helen Katauskas Paternal grandparents are Chuck and Irene Thornton and great-grandmother on her father's side is Lu Graven- struck of Lilymoor 1972 ANNIVERSARIES Alice and Allen Povidas will be celebrating another year together on April 13, as will Helen and Ed Povidas on April 17 Here's hoping both couples celebrate many more an­ niversaries HOSPITAL NOTES Mrs Raymond Biesecker is very glad to be home from the hospital after being there from the twelfth through the twenty- sixth cf March. CONDOLENCES Shortly after being released from the hospital, Mrs. Ray Biesecker received word that her son, Raymond Roeske, 55, d Chicago had passed away. He and his wife, Dorothy had two sons, Raymond and Lance Cpl. Martin Roeske. BIRTHDAYS Best wishes are being sent to Michael Lund who will be a big 2 years old on April 10 and to Florence Mix who will be celebrating her birthday on April 18, here's hoping both the above have a very happy day. See you next week Woodstock Youth Wins Appointment To West Point • It was announced this week by the office of Congressman Robert McClory (R-ILL.) that David H. Kristensen, son cf Mr. and Mrs. Harold L. Kristensen, 115 Fremont street, Woodstock, has won an ap­ pointment to the United States Military academy at West Point for the class beginning in July of this year. David Kristensen is a 1971 graduate of St. John's Military academy, and has recently completed a course at Nor­ thwestern Preparatory school in Minneapolis. Young Kristensen is the third 12th district candidate to be chosen by the Army Academy for admission this year. It is hoped that additional can­ didates will be selected within the next month.
