Many Churches Participate In Clothing Appeal Many churches in McHenry county are taking part in the Church World Service clothing appeal currenUy in progress. All material collected at local churches is to be taken to the clothing depot in the First Presbyterian church in Woodstock Friday or Saturday, May 19 or 20, Art Dillon, local coordinator, announced. Church World Service, the cooperative relief agency of twenty-eight denominations, processes and ships the clothing and blankets wherever there is acute need. Large shipments recently went to the disastrous flood area in West Virginia and to care for refugees from the war ir. Bangladesh, formerly East Pakistan. New or used blankets and all types of light weight clothing are urgenUy needed. Donations of cash are also needed. Johnson, 1003 Hampton court, McHenry, is among over 7,000 Indiana university Bloomington un­ dergraduate students who will be honored for scholastic achievement April 19 at the university's annual Founders Day ceremony. The honor students are those who made the Deans' lists the second semester of last year (1970-71) or the first semester of this school year (1971-72), or both. To make a Dean's list, fresh­ men had to earn a 3.3 grade average or higher, based on an all-A average of 4, and carry a minimum of 12 hours of course work. For other un­ dergraduates, the average had to be 3.5 or higher.
